We will go through the history of your injury and a health history, do an examination including x-rays if necessary, and start treatment as soon as possible. We do all of this in an effort to speed your recovery.
Treatment is different for different problems. Many patients need chiropractic spinal manipulation, which can be done by applying a small force to a joint to improve motion or by a non-force technique such as an Activator adjusting instrument, which is very gentle. You may also need physical therapy modalities such as electrical muscle stimulation, ultrasound, neck or lower back traction, ice, or heat to speed your recovery. We can determine what is best for you. Our office has three excellent massage therapists as well as an acupuncturist.
Some people need nutritional counseling to assist in their recovery, and we have several products for different conditions. We have products for arthritis, muscle and joint injuries, high cholesterol, and constipation as well as products to aid digestion or to fight off the flu.
